The Department of Sculpture/Lithics, Frescoes, and Mosaics Collections and Exhibitions is responsible for researching, recording, protecting, and promoting museum objects such as sculptures, architectural members, reliefs, inscriptions, etc., frescoes, plasters, and mosaics dating from the prehistoric to the late Roman period.

In addition, it manages and implements co-funded programs, prepares and organizes exhibitions, develops scientific and educational activities, facilitates access to archaeological material for researchers, and utilizes information technology. It also issues permits for the study and photography of ancient objects, supports the museum's communications, and organizes scientific events.
