The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki is one of the largest museums in Greece and the central museum of northern Greece. All visitors are welcome to experience its unique collections of ancient artefacts as well as its rich and extrovert cultural activities.

NOTICE TO RECEARCHER

During the period 20/02-30/09/2026, it will not be possible to study objects from the Ceramics, Clay & Org. Materials and Metalworking & Small Crafts Collections, due to work on recording antiquities and reorganizing the storage spaces of the Museum

OPENING HOURS
Every day 9:00-17:00

The Museum is closed on December 25th and 26th, January 1st, March 25th, May 1st and on Easter Sunday.

ADMISSION FEE
General: 10 Euros
Reduced: 5 Euros
