She was born in Maroussi, Attica and studied at the Department of History and Archaeology at the Kapodistrian University of Athens. In 1996, she obtained a Master's degree from the Institut du Paléontologie Humaine at the Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris. She specialized in Middle Palaeolithic chipped stone industries. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Department of History and Archaeology at the Kapodistrian University of Athens.

She has participated in excavations and surface surveys throughout Greece collaborated with Greek and foreign research institutions. From 1998 to 2010, she worked as a contract archaeologist for the Ministry of Culture. In 2006, she was appointed to the LB' EPKA, where she led the "Exhibition of the Archaeological Museum of Igoumenitsa" project (3rd Community Support Framework) until 2009. In 2011, she was appointed to the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, where she worked in the Department of Exhibitions, Communication and Education. In December 2024, she assumed the position of Head of the Museum's Publications and Archive Management Department.

Her research interests focus on prehistory, the Palaeolithic period, chipped stone industries, and museum studies. She has presented papers at scientific conferences, edited publications, and published articles on archaeological and museological topics.
