Vasiliki Michalopoulou studied conservation and restoration of antiquities and works of art at the Technological and Educational Institute of Athens.
Currently is a postgraduate student in Cultural Organizations Management at the Hellenic Open University.
From 1992 to 2006, she worked as an antiquities restorer with the 16th Ephorate of antiquities in Thessaloniki. She earned her permanent contract with the Greek Ministry of Culture in 2006 after having successfully participated in a national recruitment competition.
Her scientific interests include the deterioration of excavated materials and the study of ancient metallurgy. Her work is presented in scientific conferences and published in journals.
