She was born in Thessaloniki and studied at the Department of History and Archaeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2003, she obtained a Master's degree from the same department, and in 2010, she completed her doctoral thesis with a scholarship from the State Scholarships Foundation, titled “Clay structures of the prehistoric settlement of Archontiko Giannitson: a contribution to the study of food technology”.
From 1997 to 2010, she worked as a contract researcher on various projects of the Archaeology Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. During that period she participated in various excavations, collaborated with Greek and foreign research institutions, and produced a series of publications. Since 1994, she has been a key collaborator in the university's excavation project at the prehistoric site of Archontiko near Giannitsa.
In 2011, she was appointed to the Archaeological Service and served at the Ephorate of Antiquities of Corfu until 2018. Since October 2018, she has been part of the Exhibitions, Communication, and Education Department at the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki. In December 2024, she assumed the position of Head of the Department of Digital Applications and Innovative Services at the museum.
She has participated in scientific conferences with presentations, has curated publications for the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, and has published various articles and studies. Her publications and research interests focus on the prehistory of Macedonia and the Ionian Islands, experimental archaeology, the use of digital media in cultural management and development, and the study of archival sources related to the history of Greek archaeology.
