Tango for All: The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki hosts the Thessaloniki Tango Party on the 23rd and 24th of August!
The Thessaloniki Tango Party, a European tango festival, will take place from August 22-25 for the 5th consecutive year. This festival welcomes everyone, regardless of gender, race, age, or dance experience. Whether you are a beginner or have some dance experience, you are invited to join! The festival offers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with tango, improve your skills, and discover new expressive possibilities.
The Festival promotes charitable contributions, sustainable tourism development and artistic-cultural expression in Thessaloniki. At the same time, it uses tango to strengthen the spirit of solidarity and empathy, as through various initiatives, citizens are encouraged to support non-profit organizations with charitable purposes, such as the "SYZOI" association.
This year's Thessaloniki Tango Party program includes free activities such as beginner tango lessons, performances by professional dancers, musical events, and parties with live music.
The festival is under the auspices of the Thessaloniki Hotels Association, the Embassy of Argentina in Greece and the Tourism Promotion and Marketing Organization of Thessaloniki.
