We are inaugurating the “Hall of Educational Programmes and Creative Workshops for All”!

The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki (AMTh) defines itself as a “Museum for All”, with initiatives since 2006 that aim at universal accessibility and social inclusion. It collaborates with schools, Special Education institutions, and social organisations, offering educational programmes and personalised museum experiences to diverse audience groups. On Wednesday, 3 September 2025, the Minister of Culture will inaugurate a new hall at the Museum: the “Hall of Educational Programmes and Creative Workshops for All”, which was designed and implemented to serve precisely this purpose: inclusion, accessibility, and the possibility of a personalised museum experience for a wider and more diverse public.

The project was realised through a donation from the Papageorgiou Foundation to the Association of Friends of the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki, and through the close collaboration of the above-mentioned bodies with the Ministry of Culture and the Museum.
