The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki is hosting the annual scientific working meeting on Didactic Copies titled “Copies didactiques. Les supports à l’enseignement de l’archéologie et de l’histoire de l’art antique (grec, étrusque, romain) en France, Grèce et Italie (xixe-xxe s.)”.

On Tuesday 13 May at 19:00, the public is invited to attend the lecture titled “The Cast Museum at the Aristotle University Thessaloniki and the Gilliéron Workshop: an encounter”, delivered by Dr Eleni Manakidou, Professor of Classical Archaeology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Director of the Cast Museum of the same university, and Dr Christina Mitsopoulou (University of Volos).

The event will be introduced by Dr Anastasia Gadolou, General Director of the Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki.

The lecture will be delivered in Greek (with English subtitles).
