The Department of Digital Applications and Innovative Services is responsible for the research and design of innovative digital applications of archaeological and cultural interest, for the management and proper operation of the museum’s multimedia applications, and more generally for improving accessibility and enhancing the visitors’ museum experience.
In addition, it collaborates with the other departments of the museum as well as with research institutions in Greece and abroad for the submission of proposals and the implementation of digital projects within the framework of European and international research programs. Finally, it develops networking technologies with other museums and cultural organizations.
