The Department of Digital Governance is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the museum in matters relating to information technology. This includes overseeing the implementation of digital initiatives and evaluating their effectiveness.
The Department ensures the design, development, support, and maintenance of the museum’s technical infrastructure, as well as its digital governance and online information systems. It is tasked with the uninterrupted operation of the museum’s central IT systems and digital collection management platforms. Additionally, it oversees the enhancement of IT security protocols, the logical design of software applications and databases, and the necessary expansion and optimization of the museum’s information systems.
Finally, the Department actively participates in the submission of co-funded project proposals aimed at developing innovative digital governance applications.
